Cap Sante Boat Haven West Basin Redevelopment E & F Docks Replacement Project
The Port held a ceremonial "groundbreaking" on October 13th, 2011, to signal the start of Phase 3 of our West Basin Redevelopment Project, the long anticipated replacement of docks E & F.
The Redevelopment Project began with Phase 1 in 2004 with Dredging to -12 MLLW at A & B Docks and the fairway from the north-end docks.
Phase 2 (2005-2007) Included demolition, dredging to -12 MLLW and replacement of Docks C & D with new concrete monolithic floats with 66, 57, and 46 foot moorage options and 10-foot wide main walkway with updated water, sewer, and power infastructure. Also included in Phase 2 was the addition of a state of the art sewer pumpout float, fuel dock and boat launch facilities.
Phase 3 (2011-2012) will entail the demolition and replacement of E & F Docks with new concrete monolithic floats in 57, 46, and 40 foot moorage options and 10-foot wide main walkway with updated water, sewer, and power infastructure, as was built for C & D Docks.
Demolition of E & F Docks is divided into two parts: material procurement and construction as follows:

Total Project Cost for E & F Docks REplacement is $5.4 million = $33,000 per slip
